How Long Do the Meals Last?

Because the meals are made without artificial or chemical preservatives, they are intended to be refrigerated rather than stored indefinitely.
Are CookUnity Meals Frozen?
No. CookUnity delivers its meals chilled rather than frozen. Meals are packed in insulated packaging with ice packs, designed to keep them chilled during delivery.
CookUnity says deliveries may arrive in reusable insulated tote bags or boxes, depending on the delivery method.
What Happens to the Delivery Bags?
Some CookUnity customers participate in the company’s returnable packaging program.
Customers leave their empty insulated delivery bag out on their next delivery day, and the driver collects it when dropping off the next order. The bags are then cleaned, sanitized, and reused.
Who Delivers the Meals?
As for who delivers them, CookUnity’s consumer materials indicate that delivery dates and tracking are assigned based on location, while its business materials say it uses dedicated drivers.
Order may or may not be delivered by CookUnity employees, because the delivery method can vary by location.
What Does CookUnity Cost?
CookUnity uses a tiered weekly pricing system, so the price per meal generally decreases as the number of meals ordered increases.
At the time of writing, advertised meal prices generally fall in the $11–$14 range per serving, before applicable delivery fees and upgrades.
Premium meals can cost extra, and customers can also add items such as desserts, sides, breakfasts, and beverages.
Shipping fees may also apply depending on the delivery location.

Local Meal Services for Hemet
WOW Chicken Life is a home-based MEHKO (Microenterprise Home Kitchen Operation) owned by Christopher Malone and located in Hemet, California.
The service is designed specifically for customers in Hemet and San Jacinto who want fresh, home-style dinners delivered directly to their door each evening, just in time for dinner.
Instead of ordering individual refrigerated meals, customers order a one-week dinner package that covers Monday through Friday. Each package includes five dinners, one per day, delivered fresh and hot throughout the week.
There are currently three packages to choose from:
- Solo Supper: Dinner for 1
- Empty Nest Meal: Dinner for 2
- The Family Table: Dinner for 4
Deliveries are made Monday through Friday during chosen 30-minute delivery slots between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM, making it possible to have dinner arrive around the time you’re getting home from work.
Weekly packages must be ordered by 11:59 PM Saturday to begin delivery the following Monday.
WOW Chicken Life does not use third-party delivery services such as Uber Eats, Instacart, DoorDash, Spark, or other delivery platforms. Your meals are delivered by Chris and company, from our door to yours.
There are also no delivery fees within Hemet and San Jacinto and no driver tips required.
