We prepare smoked chicken, BBQ dinners, fresh sides, sauces and dips, then personally deliver your hot dinners to your door Monday through Friday from 4PM to 8PM. You choose the time slot.

Christopher Malone’s Health Journey: A Different Relationship With Food
From Preparing for Dialysis to Taking Control of My Health
My name is Christopher Malone, the owner of WOW Chicken Life. I’m a Gen Xer in my 50s living in Hemet, California. Not long ago, I was preparing myself for the possibility of starting dialysis. At the same time, my doctors made it clear that my weight needed serious attention.
I was considered obese, and getting my weight under control became an important part of moving forward with my health. Over the following year, I lost more than 70+ pounds without following a traditional diet. Instead, I began changing the way I thought about food and the way I approached what I ate.
Nutrition courses helped me understand food differently, and my wife, Kiesha, was there with me throughout the process. Together, we made changes that became part of our everyday lives rather than something I planned to do temporarily.
By 2026, those changes had made a significant difference in my life. My sleep apnea is gone, my blood pressure is normal most of the time, and my kidney function has improved from 17% to 21%.
That improvement does not mean my kidney problems are gone. My doctors have told me that I may still need a kidney transplant in the future. But I no longer need dialysis… for now… and because I’ve made significant progress with my weight and overall health, I’m now a stronger candidate for the kidney transplant program.
This journey also changed the way Kiesha and I think about the food we prepare, how we prepare it, and how much of it we eat.
WOW Chicken Life isn’t about claiming that food can fix a medical condition. It’s about preparing meals with ingredients and choices we feel good about serving to ourselves and our community.
As I continue my health journey, Kiesha and I will share what we’ve learned about food, the changes we’ve made, and what it looks like to build healthier habits in our 50s.
What We Sell
We offer weekly BBQ meals and hot dinner packages delivered Monday through Friday. Each dinner includes your choice of one main course and two side dishes. Our menu includes smoked chicken, BBQ chicken and other home-style dinner options, along with our signature sauces and dips.
Customers choose the package size that fits their household, from individual dinners to couples meals and family options. When to Order
Our weekly menu opens Monday at 6:00 AM and closes Saturday at 11:59 PM, or sooner if all available spots are filled. We can only accommodate so many per week.
